On Tuesday, March 11, the Meeting of Friends and Partners of the Chilean-Peruvian Chamber of Commerce AG de Comercio took place, an event sponsored by LMA | Lagos Maclean Abogados (ALL-Chile) and Torres y Torres Lara Abogados (ALL-Peru).<\/p>\n
Entitled \u201cOpportunities for expansion of the mining and energy industry through the synergy of the competitive advantages of Chile and Peru\u201d, the meeting brought together more than one hundred businessmen and experts of the sector, to discuss the collaboration between both countries in these sectors.<\/p>\n
The presentation of the event was made by Jaime de Orbegoso, president of the Chilean-Peruvian Chamber of Commerce AG and the presentations were made by leading experts.<\/p>\n
Richard Araya Silva, Senior Technical Director in Mining, Energy and Construction at LMA, analyzed the prospects for growth and investment in the mining industry in Chile and the world, highlighting the key factors for the sustainable development of the sector.<\/p>\n
Kenneth Maclean, LMA partner and developer of the Green Hydrogen Project, spoke on Decarbonization, mining & energy, addressing the role of green hydrogen in the energy transition and its impact on the industry.<\/p>\n
Rafael Torres Morales and Bruno Vega Nu\u00f1ez of Torres y Torres Lara Abogados, addressed the Business and Investment Opportunities between Peru and Chile and the Investment Roadmap of the mining and energy sector respectively.<\/p>\n
key trends in mining and energy, investment opportunities and the impact of innovation, sustainability and cooperation on the development of the industry in the region were discussed. The collaboration between Chile and Peru and the importance of international cooperation for the growth of the sector were emphasized.<\/p>\n

El Jueves 22 de agosto, nuestros socios Jos\u00e9 Joaqu\u00edn Lagos, Kenneth Maclean<\/a> y Pedro Garc\u00eda Ossand\u00f3n<\/a>, participaron de la Cena de Negocios Mineros 2024, un evento organizado por la Asociaci\u00f3n de Industriales de Antofagasta<\/a> (AIA) en las Ruinas de Huanchaca. Esta celebraci\u00f3n, enmarcada en el \"Mes de la Miner\u00eda 2024\", tambi\u00e9n conmemor\u00f3 el 80\u00ba aniversario de la AIA, subrayando su papel en el desarrollo tanto regional como nacional.
El evento, uno de los m\u00e1s destacados de la regi\u00f3n,\u00a0reuni\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 1.100 actores clave de la industria\u00a0para discutir los desaf\u00edos y oportunidades del sector, dialogar, generar negocios y compartir experiencias. Los temas discutidos incluyeron la innovaci\u00f3n, automatizaci\u00f3n y digitalizaci\u00f3n, entre otros aspectos clave para el futuro de la industria.
